Deep In Debt
Deep In Debt was a 48 Hour Game Jam with the theme of Mental Health. I alongside others created this top down game about removing negative emotions by surviving rounds and throwing pencils at them.
I was the vision holder for the game jam and level designer, creating the playable space and planning out enemy spawn amount and health pickup locations
I also created the VFX as this game was in the style of the Sega Master System and its cover art design. this included the checked box art and CRT effects.

Entrance / Enemies
This was during testing where we had too many enemies spawning, this shows the 2/3 variety of the enemies in the game.

Main Area

This is within the main area of the game, its a recreation of the Uni floor with carpet tiles, tables, computers, bins, and chairs to move around and fight the emotions.

Low Health / Pickup

As a little side joke, the health pickups were made as Uni newsletters. Also a effect when at low health the screen borders start closing in.
